Toplink DCIM for Mofang V10
Providers selling dedicated or bare-metal servers can connect Mofang V10's sales and billing to Toplink DCIM's data center management: provisioned on payment, managed by customers themselves, with traffic packs for traffic-based plans.
Key capabilities
- 01
Automatic provisioning
When a customer pays, a physical server is allocated and the OS installed with no manual work.
- 02
Customer self-service
Power on and off, reboot, reinstall, reset the password, rescue mode and hostname changes.
- 03
Web console
Open a VNC graphical console or SSH terminal right in the browser.
- 04
Traffic packs
Customers suspended for exceeding their traffic are restored as soon as they buy a pack, and the quota is added automatically.
Who it is for
- IDC providers selling dedicated or bare-metal servers;
- Data centers already running Toplink DCIM that want to connect sales, billing and self-service with Mofang V10;
- Traffic-billed products where selling traffic packs adds revenue;
- Teams that want fewer repetitive tickets for provisioning, reinstalls and password resets.
Flexible product configuration
In the Mofang V10 admin panel, add an interface pointing to DCIM (using the API key and secret generated in DCIM), test the connection, and start creating products:
| Setting | What you can configure |
|---|---|
| Billing cycles | Monthly, quarterly, yearly and more, with prices |
| Data centers | Country, city, facility and carrier line; each line billed by bandwidth or traffic, with public IP and DDoS protection pricing |
| Server models | CPU, memory, disks, GPUs and per-cycle prices, optionally customizable |
| Add-ons | Extra memory, disks, GPUs and more |
| Advanced rules | Constraints between options, for example an OS not allowed on a model |
| Operating systems | Pulled from DCIM, with categories, ordering and optional pricing |
Self-service, feature by feature
Under “Other settings” each self-service capability can be switched on or off: power control, reinstall, hardware details, VNC, port speed display, hostname changes and self-service network disconnect and reconnect. When a service is suspended or terminated, the server can be shut down, its network port closed and its IPs reclaimed automatically. Password resets and reinstalls can require SMS verification.
Traffic packs
- When a customer pays for a traffic pack, its capacity is added to the server’s traffic limit;
- If the server was suspended for exceeding its traffic, the suspension is lifted once payment succeeds;
- When a pack expires, a daily check lowers the traffic limit back automatically;
- Every step is written to the product log for easy reconciliation.
For detailed configuration steps, see “Toplink DCIM integration with Mofang V10” in the product documentation.
FAQ
Can I sell by traffic?
Yes. Each carrier line can be billed by bandwidth or by traffic. To sell traffic packs, the line must be billed by traffic.
Can customers choose their own hardware?
Yes. Server models can allow custom configurations, with memory, disks and GPUs sold as add-ons when ordering or upgrading later.
Are reinstalls and password resets secure?
You can require SMS verification, so customers enter a code from their phone before resetting a password or reinstalling.
